As ruler of the night, a Full Moon lights the path of self-discovery.

There’s an intense Full Moon brewing in still waters run deep Scorpio. Across the sky from each other, the Sun in Taurus and Moon in Scorpio are both in fixed signs. This can really resonate with a strong desire to dig in your heels. Depending on what’s happening in your life, staying the course may be a beneficial thing for you. If that’s the case, emotional, physical and spiritual endurance are fully available to you.

On the other hand, being inflexible without legitimate cause can undermine some of the progress you’ve been working towards. As Full Moons are a time of manifestation, if something pops, ask yourself how high the stakes are. Do you need to defend your position and stand your ground? Or is this one of those situations where it’s no big deal if you don’t ‘win?’ Bear in mind that Venus in her home sign of Taurus is invested in win-win situations for all.

The best possible outcome for all concerned is also worth considering if you’re feeling especially possessive now. Both Taurus and Scorpio resonate with the concept of mine! whether we’re talking about objects (Taurus) or lovers (Scorpio). On the plus side, taking ownership can also be about accepting responsibility for your emotional dramas. I mention this because drama becomes intensified with a Full Moon in Scorpio. But Pluto, Scorpio’s modern ruler, is squaring (that’s a ninety-degree angle) Saturn in Libra, which is Venus’ other home sign. This can be read as a cosmic call to be accountable for your responses. To emphasize the point, Mars, the traditional ruler of Scorpio, has curled up with his cosmic lover Venus, as if to promote a peaceful way to resolve difficult issues.

Whether it’s your emotional triggers (Moon in Scorpio), your material possessions, (Venus in Taurus), your ideas or intellectual property (Mercury in Taurus); your deeds (Mars in Taurus) or the way that you allocate your time (Pluto as lunation ruler square Saturn, governor of time), take a deep breath and ask yourself what the end result is that you desire. If you can achieve it without creating sturm und drang, you may very well enjoy the inner contact with that peaceful core inside you, that comes with the depth of feeling at this Full Moon.
