A Child of Hope
is She.
In the eastern window
She places her candle
Lit.
Silently
she watches,
waits.
The Hope
in her Heart
holds a space
for the New Earth that comes.
So soon.
So close.
She closes her eyes, awake.
And envisions her
Sisters and Brothers
Welcoming with her
the One.
So close,
so soon.
