Wherever warrior Mars appears, you can expect a certain amount of carnage. Now that he’s traveling backwards, it’s as though he’s got the gory task of sifting through the remains of whatever he took his wrecking ball to. Virgo’s landscape is the region in which Mars retraces his steps. Virgo aims for perfection, and chastises when that ideal proves impossible. Today the Moon joins Mars, and there may be an emotional swell of regrets for past ventures that failed to live up to your expectations or desires. Yet Virgo’s energy is mutable, so you can move into another headspace, even by walking outdoors for a bit. Planetary retrogrades place us all in the midst of a lengthy review period. Go easy on yourself. The other side of Virgo is Pisces, and that’s all about forgiveness.
